During Thailand's dry season, thousands of undocumented migrant workers come from Myanmar to harvest sugar cane in the Thai border town of Mae Sot.

They come from impoverished rural areas, lured by the opportunity to earn a daily wage much higher than what they can get in their own country.

In Thailand, they rarely stray far from their workplace for fear of arrest and deportation by the police back to Myanmar.
